Looking for orchids and wildflowers in the Kojonup shire? We will try to keep you up to date with what you can expect to find in and around Kojonup.
13th. May Bunny Orchids are out
27th. May although the Bunny Orchids are coming to an end we have started to find a number of Hare Orchids out in flower. There are also a number of Green Hoods that are getting close to flowering.
18th June and the Green Hoods are out and the Shell orchids can be found. The Hare orchids are still around in many places.
18th July and we are starting to see signs of more Orchids. The Autumn Leek Orchid can now be found.
The wildflowers, trees, bushes, etc. are starting to flower. Images will be posted once we can get out and take them.

We went out yesterday (31st Aug) for a quick look to see what was starting to come out .... what a surprise we
got as there was just masses of orchids out. Below are just a few, including a very special Pink Spider Orchid
that we have only found one of in the last 5 years.
